Tatum’s set at a high bar with a 40.5 Pts+Ast+Reb line tonight, but this might just be TOO STEEP. Despite his capability, the Celtics are the 2nd-least up-tempo team over the last 20 games, and Miami’s playing at the slowest pace when on the road, leading to fewer overall possessions. He's averaged 37.6 PRA over his last 10 games. But, over his last 5, that number has dipped to 33.4. He's beaten this 40.5 number only once over his last 5.

Jonas Valanciunas CRUSHED the boards in Game 1 against the Thunder, racking up a MASSIVE 20 rebounds with 9 of them offensive. He's set to REPEAT this IMPRESSIVE performance, especially with Zion out, ensuring JV stays on the floor longer. With the Pelicans facing the 2nd-fastest paced team in the league, expect more possessions and hence, MORE opportunities for Valanciunas. The Thunder's weakness in allowing offensive rebounds - they rank 2nd-worst in the league - combined with JV’s dominance on the glass, makes the OVER one of my favorite bets on the slate.
