With the Raptors hosting the game at the fastest pace of play in the league over their last 5 home games, opportunities for McCollum to dish out assists are abundant. His average of 4.5 assists this season already puts him above this line, highlighting his critical role in the Pelicans' offense. Plus, the Raptors' tendency to give up the most offensive rebounds over the last 5 games means more possessions for the Pelicans, and more chances for McCollum to rack up assists. With his significant playing time and the game's fast pace, CJ McCollum going OVER 3.5 assists is my favorite over spot of the night by a mile.

2: J. Tatum: U 28.5 Pts

Jayson Tatum might be ON FIRE, but tonight's game against Cleveland is where we pump the brakes. The Cavs have been a fortress at home, giving up the least offensive boards in the league over their last 20 games, crucial for limiting second-chance points. Moreover, Cleveland’s defense has been tight, with opposing team's starting PFs finding it tough to get to the free throw line, a critical part of Tatum's scoring arsenal. With the Cavs playing at the 2nd-slowest pace in their last 5 games, reducing possessions for the Celtics, and considering Tatum’s decrease in free throws made per game this year, betting the UNDER on 28.5 points is a no-brainer. This line is simply TOO HIGH for a matchup that favors defense over Tatum's usual scoring outbursts.
